What Komodroid Services collects
Komodroid Services stores account details, sign-in and security records including IP addresses, trusted-device records, two-factor authentication settings, game ownership checks, achievements, friends, support tickets, cloud saves, settings, notifications, moderation records, reported text chat messages, reported voice chat transcripts, account/IP bans, anti-cheat reports, Workshop uploads when Workshop is enabled, and game-specific progress needed to run Komodroid games.
When you link itch.io, Komodroid Services may store your itch.io user ID, username, display name, profile URL, linked email where supplied, encrypted OAuth token where used, ownership or purchase-check results, download-key claim details, and purchase metadata needed to confirm access to Komodroid games. We do not store your itch.io password.
For family safety, account registration also stores age, under-18 status, parent or guardian email, policy acceptance timestamps, and parent-control settings.
How the data is used
Games
Progress, access, and fair play
Game data unlocks achievements, checks ownership through Komodroid keys, itch.io linking, or store integrations where available, synchronizes saves and settings, records anti-cheat signals for review, publishes approved Workshop maps when Workshop is enabled, and keeps multiplayer fair.
Family
Under-18 controls
Parent controls can restrict voice chat and adjust child account safety options for Room of Secrets.
Safety
Moderation
Warnings, player reports, reported text chat messages, reported voice chat transcripts, optional user-provided proof, admin logs, login IPs, and IP bans help enforce the Komodroid Services rules and harmful communications safety expectations.
Your rights
You can ask Komodroid to access, correct, or delete personal information where applicable. Contact support@komodroid.co.nz.
Admins can generate a Personal Information export from the Services admin panel for account data requests.
